A minute’s walk away is the cable car, which will take you to the top (Robièi) in just a few minutes and give you breathtaking views of Basòdino Glacier. The cable car is also the starting point of the stunning and highly popular Cristallina Pass hiking trail and the Basòdino Glacier. Val de Bavona is also an amazing hiking avenue during summer.
Locarno is less than an hour’s drive from the natural paradise of Val Bavona. The nearest international airport is Milan Malpensa, approximately a 2.20 hour’s drive here.
