Swing into summer at The Paloznaki Jazzpiknik!
Groove under the summer sky at the Paloznaki Jazzpiknik! Set in the charming village of Paloznak, this jazz festival has grown from a cosy gathering into one of Hungary's premier music events. With main stage concerts by top Hungarian and international artists, guests can relax on blankets by day and dance under the stars by night. Smaller stages set among century-old village houses offer intimate jazz performances. The event focuses on quality gastronomy, local products, and sustainability—using compostable cups and plates and minimising plastic.
What to Expect at the Paloznaki Jazzpiknik?
Since its humble beginnings in 2012, the Paloznaki Jazzpiknik has become a must-attend event for jazz lovers and festival-goers. What began as a small event in the village has evolved through the years, with a 3-day, 4-stage festival featuring around 40 concerts.
Diverse Lineup
The first artists announced for the 2026 Paloznaki Jazzpiknik already hint at an exciting musical mix. Fans can look forward to the return of British pop icon Rick Astley, whose unforgettable hits and charismatic stage presence are set to light up the festival stage once again. Joining him is four-time Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater, bringing her powerful voice and timeless jazz style to the closing night. Also performing is the French nu-jazz collective Electro Deluxe, known for blending soul, funk, swing, and electronic sounds into an energetic live show. Completing the early line-up is Austrian electro-swing band Deladap, delivering a vibrant fusion of swing rhythms and modern beats. More artists will be announced soon as the festival approaches.
