We had a fantastic stay in Argentiere!! Mark’s apartment is in a brilliant location, just a couple of minutes from the ski hire, bakery, restaurants and bars. About 5 minute walk to the Grandes Montets ski lift… The bus stop and the train station are immediately outside the apartment so it is super easy to visit other areas of Chamonix. The facilities in the apartment were enough for a comfortable stay. The balcony is well appointed and was a sun trap between 9am and 2pm, you look directly onto the slopes of Grandes Montets! Stunning! I will point out that the description of the bathroom is incorrect. It is not en-suite, which is good news if you are staying with family as we were. We would definitely stay again. A week’s stay was great value for money!

Logement excellent, très bonne literie. Salle de bain top avec le sauna (attention il met un peu de temps à chauffer pour être vraiment utilisable). Attention la baignoire fui prévoir d’utiliser des serviettes à mettre au sol. Autrement l’appartement est conforme très agréable, tres bien équipé et très bien positionné (bus pour accéder aux pistes au pied de l’immeuble.

Superbe emplacement. Appartement très propre et fonctionnel. Idéal pour un couple sans enfant. Balcon au top et vue exceptionnelle sur la station de ski des grands Montets. Logement calme. Je recommande à 100%.

Great location but the apartment is a little bit smaller than we'd hoped. The kids bedroom is just a couple of bunks behind a curtain and we struggled to find space to put all our clothes. Looks a little bit tired around the edges but perfectly fine for a week, and no issues with anything while we were there. Due to the weather there was a lot of noise from snowploughs throughout the night, but I imagine this doesn't happen often.

Clear instructions for self check-in in the PDF file sent ahead of the trip. The building is a bit complicated so it was not so easy to find the flat the first time without staff in the building. Lack of indicator on garage doors remote control, we had to try many times to figure out which button is for which gate. Flat was clean and exactly as described. It's located on the 1st floor so lack of privacy to enjoy the mountain view as it's right next to the parking lot. The air hole cover on the balcony door was broken so the cold air got in the flat a lot, we used the curtain to block the cold wind. The wall mounted heating seemed old but functioned pretty well. The small sauna room in the flat was excellent, it was a luxury to enjoy sauna in your own flat. It's thoughtful that the host left a bottle of wine and a pack of dish washing tools. Overall, it's a cozy flat for a chalet vibe weekend stay.

The flat is located in a very charming area of Chamonix. It is a bit far from the central village with all tourist attractions, but it is easily reachable by car. I assume this would be the best location for a winter stay as it has direct access to the ski lifts. The apartment is very spacious and fully equipped with all the necessary items. It even had a sauna room inside the bathroom! Such a chic!

Location was ultimate, nested in centre of mountains, view from balcony was amazing and just opposite to the railway station( comfortable for people relying on public transport) and walkable distance from the famous bakery.
