A traditional Savoyard apartment with a contemporary twist, stunning mountain views and your own sauna – the perfect base for alpine adventures. This charming first floor apartment is traditionally decorated but with modern touches. It comfortably sleeps 4 people. The living area, with an open-plan kitchen, makes the ideal space for relaxing and hanging out with friends or family after a day skiing or hiking. There is a comfortable, 3-seater sofa and separate chair next to a sliding glass door that leads from the living room to the large, private balcony. The balcony has a table and two chairs, where you can sit in the summer months. Indoors there is a wooden breakfast bar that seats 4, next to the well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen has an induction hob, fridge, dishwasher and drip coffee machine, for stress-free self-catering. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is full of character, with a double bed, en suite bathroom and an unusual arched window with stunning mountain views. Children’s Bedroom: This cosy little cabin is perfect for children and has 2 bunk-style beds. Bathroom En suite to bedroom 1, this alpine-style bathroom, with classic white tiling, has a separate shower, basin and W.C. For larger groups other apartments are available in Résidence Le Cristal. These are in the same part of Le Cristal – ID2275, 2276 and 3157. These apartments are also in Le Cristal, but on a different corridor – ID3914, 3298, 3435, 3769, 2277, 2300, 5330, 5331, 5332, 5333 and 2272. Additional • No wifi • Smart TV • Private sauna • Balcony • Shared pool table • Smoke detector • Ski storage • Private underground parking, but car not necessary • Pets allowed • Child friendly Location The apartment is in the centre of the village of Argentière, a short walk to the lifts for Les Grands Montets skiing area, ski slopes and shuttle buses. The slopes around Argentière are suitable for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. For younger skiers, the Panda Club offers ski lessons and other activities. The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep. During the summer months, there are stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding. For something more relaxing there is the renowned QC Termes spa in Chamonix (10 mins drive). Geneva airport is a 11/2 hour drive from the apartment. There are free shuttle services between Argentière and Chamonix, either by bus (22 mins) or by train (18mins), on the Mont Blanc Express.

Clear instructions for self check-in in the PDF file sent ahead of the trip. The building is a bit complicated so it was not so easy to find the flat the first time without staff in the building. Lack of indicator on garage doors remote control, we had to try many times to figure out which button is for which gate. Flat was clean and exactly as described. It's located on the 1st floor so lack of privacy to enjoy the mountain view as it's right next to the parking lot. The air hole cover on the balcony door was broken so the cold air got in the flat a lot, we used the curtain to block the cold wind. The wall mounted heating seemed old but functioned pretty well. The small sauna room in the flat was excellent, it was a luxury to enjoy sauna in your own flat. It's thoughtful that the host left a bottle of wine and a pack of dish washing tools. Overall, it's a cozy flat for a chalet vibe weekend stay.

The flat is located in a very charming area of Chamonix. It is a bit far from the central village with all tourist attractions, but it is easily reachable by car. I assume this would be the best location for a winter stay as it has direct access to the ski lifts. The apartment is very spacious and fully equipped with all the necessary items. It even had a sauna room inside the bathroom! Such a chic!
