On the edge of an intermittent lake and in the middle of a protected regional park lies an estate with a beautifully landscaped house by its own stream and carefully tended surroundings. The two-bedroom holiday retreat for up to 5 guests is designed for a wonderful holiday with friends and family. Staying here is comfortable throughout the year. In the garden, guests can lounge on the deck chair and enjoy a peaceful time with chirping birds to keep them company. Other than this, guests may also prepare the choicest meals on the grill, dine under the stars and let the conversations flow. There are also arrangements for rafting in the stream to the sawmill. There is a garden next to the house where guests can pick seasonal vegetables and fruits as per their taste and need. A semi-circular covered terrace attached to the living room and overlooking the greenery is a great place to dine and lounge, especially on rainy days. The open-plan living room is generous in size and has an L-shaped double sofa bed, cable TV and a kitchen with a dining area, an american style coffee machine, an oven, a toaster, a cooker hob, an electric kettle and a fridge with a freezer. On this floor, there is also a special room with a wood-burning stove for socializing on colder days. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The inviting room has a double bed. Bedroom 2: The restful room is furnished with two single beds. Extra: Two guests can sleep on the double sofa bed in the living room. Bathrooms Bathroom 1: The spacious bathroom has a shower cubicle, a WC and a washbasin. There is also a service bathroom beside the living room. Location The mountain-view house is perfect for exploring the natural landscape and stay in harmony with nature. The owner has bicycles which can be used by the guests to go cycling around the place. They can also walk through the forest and pick regional fruits on their way. Other interesting activities include photo opportunities, horseback riding, boating, fishing, bear hunting, bird watching, a panoramic ride on a farm cart or a horse-drawn carriage around the lake (which is about 5 kilometers from here). The sites that must be visited are Cerknica intermittent lake, Rakov Škocjan, the mysterious underground world of Postojna Cave and Škocjan Caves, Križna Jama with over 40 emerald lakes, castles, Lipica stud farm, the capital city of Ljubljana. If guests wish to dine out, there is a restaurant only a kilometer from here. The nearest airport is about 75 kilometers away.

eine großzügige, sehr gut ausgestattete Dachgeschoßwohnung mit Balkon, Toilette und Bad getrennt genügend Platz für 4 Personen das Beste war die Gastfreundlichkeit der Vermieter, man war umsorgt, hatte das Gefühl zu den Eltern zu kommen dabei unaufdringlich und zurückhaltend, aber zu jeder Hilfe bereit, Einladung zum Frühstück, gute Grespräche....

We really enjoyed our stay in Grahovo. The appartement is located at the second floor of this very large house. The kitchen is complete and functional. The two bedrooms are large and beds are comfortable. The bathroom is newly renovated (the toilet is in a small separated room). The living room is spacious and comfortable. Everything is super clean and in good condition. The house owners are living on the first floor. They are truly sympathetics, welcoming, and they love kids. The house is located at about 15 minutes from the highway, and makes a good base camp to explore the south west of Slovenia and the multiple caves.

De zeer aardige en gastvrije eigenaren, erg lekker en goed verzorgd ontbijt (verse producten en zelf gebakken cake),de rust en de natuur, een zeer schoon appartement met goede bedden, gebruik kunnen maken van de mooi verzorgde tuin. Goed om te weten: je zit hier wel wat verder weg van hot spots zoals meren van Bled en Bohinj en de Soca kloof. De wegen er naar toe zijn erg druk, bepaalde delen zijn erg/veel toeristischer dan wij hadden verwacht (ondanks dat we er over hadden gelezen ;-)).
