A sunny, second-floor (with lift) apartment in the beautiful village of Grangesises, which sleeps 3 people in comfort and makes an ideal holiday destination all year round. The living area has a sofa with a flat-screen TV, a large wooden dresser and double glass doors leading out onto an attractive wooden balcony. The dining table, by the dresser, has seating for 4 people. The open-plan kitchenette is equipped with a cooker hob, microwave and fridge. Sleeping Bedroom: The master bedroom has a double bed and a small chest of drawers. The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable single bed. Bathroom The tiled bathroom, with large mirrors, has a shower, basin, bidet and WC Additional • Free Wifi • Flat screen TV • Central heating • Electric radiators • Laundry facilities • Hair dryer • Ski storage & discounted ski rental for guests • Public parking, car recommended (but there is a ski shuttle bus near by) • Child friendly • Pets allowed • Nespresso machine Location The apartment is in heart of the charming village of Grangesises, just a 5-minute drive from the resort of Sestriere. The surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning all year round. Sestriere has a lot to offer. In the winter months, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing. There is even an outdoor swimming pool (heated) which is open in the winter and summer seasons. Our guests can purchase SkiPasses for the ViaLattea ski area directly in our Happy.Rentals office in Sestriere. During the summer months, Grangesises and its surroundings offer visitors a rich programme of entertainment, cultural and sports events for adults and children. There are sports days and fitness weekends with certified personal trainers. The location of the Grange Hike & Ski apartments is ideal for those in search of wilderness and unspoilt nature. The neighbouring valleys, such as the Argentera Valley and the Vallone di Thuras, offer a network of trails with varying degrees of difficulty, and it is possible to organise guided outings with environmental hiking guides by prior booking. There are also numerous routes in the area for mountain bike and downhill enthusiasts at all levels. For our guests, there are discounts in affiliated shops for e-bike and muscle bike hire. The nearby Sestriere offers an internationally renowned golf course (18 holes, par 65), a swimming pool and tennis courts. For the summer of 2023, the stages of the trial motorbike and enduro bike world championships are scheduled at the end of July, and in the first week of August the important international athletics meeting and the Sestriere film festival. History lovers should not miss the re-enactment of the battle of Assietta in July and the guided visits to the Fortress of Fenestrelle and the Chaberton museum in Claviere. In Grangesises and Sestriere there are many excellent restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere offers supermarkets (the nearest is a 10-minute drive away) and small shops selling local specialities. Turin airport is 1 hour and 30 minutes' drive from the flat.

Abbiamo passato un weekend in tranquillità e pace al Grangesises, un minuscolo quartiere fatto di case con tetti tutti uniti, che da l'idea di un paesotto di montagna isolato. all'interno si possono trovare 3 ristoranti e un bar, tutti molto ospitali. la posizione è comoda perché in 5 minuti di macchina si arriva a Sestriere. l'alloggio è comodo con una vista suggestiva con davanti le montagne. l'unico particolare che non ci è stato detto è che il letto matrimoniale in realtà erano 2 letti singoli uniti, che purtroppo non rimanevano uniti ma si staccavano, creando un buco nel mezzo. (irrilevante per l'esperienza). l'organizzazione per l'accoglienza è ottima e la partenza è ottima. Ci siamo trovati talmente bene che speriamo di ritornarci presto.

Un paesino da Favola! Sembrava di essere nel film di Harry Potter, stupendo tutto quanto intorno! L’appartamento munito di tutto quello che avevamo bisogno, con la macchinetta del caffe’ e perfino una bottiglia di spumante di benvenuto per la quale vi ringraziamo. La mia premura era il riscaldamento e quando abbiamo passatp la prima notte siamo rimasti molto sorpresi dalla temperatura costante di 20 gradi in tutto l’appartamento, abbiamo dormito benissimo! Ci torneremo senz’altro per goderci la pace ed il silenzio di questo magnifico paesino e non per ultima la vista che avete voi dai balconcini! Grazie

Buongiorno ... il paese è incantevole!!! L'appartamento è situato nella piazza principale. È molto confortevole ma avrebbe bisogno di alcune piccole migliorie, che ho dettagliatamente segnalato ai due responsabili Marco e Ludovico. Per esempio sarebbe stato molto gradito avere una sdraio sul balcone, trovare una collocazione diversa alla tv, avere una "chiusura" più efficace della doccia per evitare di bagnare tutto il bagno. Sia Marco e sia Ludovico si sono dimostrati molto disponibili ed estramente gentili nell'ascoltare e nel soddisfare le mie richieste e segnalazioni. È stato veramente piacevole soggiorno.
