This was quite literally the highlight of our travels. The location was perfect, from the COOP, the Coffee House (fresh pastries and good coffee each morning) , the Gelato store, the children's playground next to the school and of course, to the best restaurant in the village right next door (in our humble opinion). We felt safe at at all times and our 3 y/o granddaughter was free to run around with no traffic to worry about. Having a on-suite for each bedroom was also a huge plus, no waiting to use use the loo. Also, just having the windows open and hear the comings and goings of the villagers was my personal pastime. Once we understood the no parking zone, it was very easy to navigate. We got so use the bells ringing we actually missed them when we left. The house instructions were a big help, we found the villa to be clean and stocked with the basic necessities when we arrived. Overall, just a great experience and would gladly stay here again.

Magical place. Perfectly located right in the small town. This was my third time in this town, but first time staying at this Airbnb and it was just fantastic. Everybody in the town is so friendly, restaurants are great, and the coffee shops and grocery store are extremely inexpensive. This Airbnb is very spacious and the washer and dryer are great. It is across from a historical church that has bells that ring very often. That is not a complaint and zero problem for me, but if somebody’s a very light sleeper and wants to sleep past 7 AM, just bring some earplugs. That was one of the best parts about it for me. I was in the room closest to the church. There are three other rooms that are farther away and two of them that are tucked in the back of the apartment so I don’t think those rooms heard it much at all. Definitely a gem. Will stay here again.

It would have been nice to have a welcome pack of essentials such as milk, tea, coffee, sugar and some biscuits especially for someone arriving late at night. Other essentials could have been dishwasher tablets- there was only one- and washing up liquid and toilet rolls Some of the bathrooms did not have any toilet paper. The cleaner should have removed the dead sunflowers which were actually smelly. Finally the lounge furnishings soft chairs were adequate for 6 people as in our group but perhaps 2 more armchairs would be needed for 8 people. Good to have starter pack in bathrooms. This is by no means major criticism but hope it will helpful yo your management . Otherwise all fine and we had a great stay . Thank you.

The house is a beautiful old grand mansion right in the center of the village, facing the old Church. The Church does ring it's bells occasionally, so if you are a very light sleeper, I'd suggest earplugs just in case. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and well furnished with beautiful antiques. Beds were very comfortable, and there's extra bedding available for colder nights. It felt pretty grand to stay here. The locks of the house can be a little challenging, it took us a bit of time to get in, but it is well secured and logically, the doors are old so they are reinforced. The only thing we missed was some basic amenities in the kitchen, like pepper and salt and maybe some oil. It would have been a bit easier to cook with those. The hosts were friendly. There was no information about the parking in the village, and the host told us to look it up ourselves. I think it's better if that information was clear on arrival. All in all we had a great stay. We stayed 4 adults 4 young kids.

The location was excellent -- right in the heart of Castellina in Chianti -- The apartment was very large and each bedroom had a bathroom in it. The kitchen was fully stocked; Washer/dryer worked; church bells were loud but awesome! Towels and sheets nice quality. Each room had a fan. Close to anything we needed! We really enjoyed it!
