Questa antica casa di città, splendidamente restaurata, può ospitare 8 persone ed è la base ideale per esplorare la gloriosa regione del Chianti e le città storiche della Toscana. La porta d'ingresso è appena fuori dalla piazza principale e si raggiunge attraverso un tranquillo giardino privato, con una magnifica vista sulla campagna circostante. Dall'ingresso, eleganti scale conducono alla zona giorno del primo piano. Con pavimenti in cotto e mobili antichi, l'appartamento conserva il suo fascino originale. L'ampio soggiorno è arredato con un divano e poltrone, un camino aperto e una Smart TV. L'adiacente cucina/zona pranzo comprende un tavolo da pranzo e una cucina ben attrezzata. La cucina comprende piano cottura, forno, microonde, lavastoviglie, frigorifero e macchina da caffè. Posti letto Ci sono 4 belle camere da letto, ognuna arredata con gusto e con mobili antichi, tra cui un letto matrimoniale, un armadio e una cassettiera. Ogni camera ha un bagno privato. I bagni I 4 bagni interni sono tutti dotati di doccia, lavabo, bidet e WC. Posizione La casa si trova nel centro del paese, nella zona pedonale, di fronte alla Chiesa di San Salvatore e accanto all'antico camminamento sotterraneo di Via delle Volte, che costeggia le mura medievali di Castellina. La piazza ospita diversi ristoranti e bar dove i visitatori possono immergersi nell'atmosfera. La posizione è ideale per una vacanza rilassante con la famiglia e gli amici. È un'ottima base per itinerari gastronomici tra i vigneti del Chianti. Per gli amanti del self-catering, i mercati locali sono un tesoro dei migliori prodotti locali, dalle verdure ai formaggi e all'olio d'oliva. Alcune delle città e dei borghi più belli d'Italia sono facilmente raggiungibili. Firenze, a soli 45 minuti di distanza, offre alcune delle più belle gallerie, musei e architetture del mondo. Così come le città di Siena (30 minuti) e Pisa, con la sua Torre Pendente (1 ora e 30 minuti) e San Gimignano (40 minuti), famosa per le sue numerose torri. Gli aeroporti più vicini sono Firenze, a 45 minuti di auto, e Pisa, a 1 ora e 25 minuti.

Magical place. Perfectly located right in the small town. This was my third time in this town, but first time staying at this Airbnb and it was just fantastic. Everybody in the town is so friendly, restaurants are great, and the coffee shops and grocery store are extremely inexpensive. This Airbnb is very spacious and the washer and dryer are great. It is across from a historical church that has bells that ring very often. That is not a complaint and zero problem for me, but if somebody’s a very light sleeper and wants to sleep past 7 AM, just bring some earplugs. That was one of the best parts about it for me. I was in the room closest to the church. There are three other rooms that are farther away and two of them that are tucked in the back of the apartment so I don’t think those rooms heard it much at all. Definitely a gem. Will stay here again.

It would have been nice to have a welcome pack of essentials such as milk, tea, coffee, sugar and some biscuits especially for someone arriving late at night. Other essentials could have been dishwasher tablets- there was only one- and washing up liquid and toilet rolls Some of the bathrooms did not have any toilet paper. The cleaner should have removed the dead sunflowers which were actually smelly. Finally the lounge furnishings soft chairs were adequate for 6 people as in our group but perhaps 2 more armchairs would be needed for 8 people. Good to have starter pack in bathrooms. This is by no means major criticism but hope it will helpful yo your management . Otherwise all fine and we had a great stay . Thank you.

The house is a beautiful old grand mansion right in the center of the village, facing the old Church. The Church does ring it's bells occasionally, so if you are a very light sleeper, I'd suggest earplugs just in case. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and well furnished with beautiful antiques. Beds were very comfortable, and there's extra bedding available for colder nights. It felt pretty grand to stay here. The locks of the house can be a little challenging, it took us a bit of time to get in, but it is well secured and logically, the doors are old so they are reinforced. The only thing we missed was some basic amenities in the kitchen, like pepper and salt and maybe some oil. It would have been a bit easier to cook with those. The hosts were friendly. There was no information about the parking in the village, and the host told us to look it up ourselves. I think it's better if that information was clear on arrival. All in all we had a great stay. We stayed 4 adults 4 young kids.

The location was excellent -- right in the heart of Castellina in Chianti -- The apartment was very large and each bedroom had a bathroom in it. The kitchen was fully stocked; Washer/dryer worked; church bells were loud but awesome! Towels and sheets nice quality. Each room had a fan. Close to anything we needed! We really enjoyed it!
