Una oportunidad única para una auténtica experiencia toscana, en esta encantadora casa en el corazón de Castellina in Chianti. Esta antigua casa de pueblo bellamente restaurada tiene capacidad para 8 personas y es una base ideal para explorar la gloriosa región de Chianti y las ciudades históricas de la Toscana. La puerta de entrada está justo al lado de la plaza principal, y se accede a través de un tranquilo jardín privado, con magníficas vistas sobre el campo vecino. Unas elegantes escaleras conducen desde el hall de entrada hasta la sala de estar de la primera planta. Con suelos de terracota y muebles antiguos, el apartamento conserva su encanto original. El amplio salón está amueblado con un sofá y sillones, una chimenea y una Smart TV. La zona de cocina/comedor contigua incluye una mesa de comedor y una cocina bien equipada. La cocina incluye fogones, horno, microondas, lavavajillas, nevera y cafetera. Para dormir Hay 4 dormitorios encantadores, cada uno decorado con buen gusto con muebles antiguos, incluyendo una cama doble, armario y cómoda. Cada habitación tiene un cuarto de baño. Baños Los 4 cuartos de baño están equipados con ducha, lavabo, bidé y WC. Ubicación La casa está situada en el centro del pueblo, en la zona peatonal, frente a la Iglesia de San Salvatore y junto al antiguo paseo subterráneo de Via delle Volte, que recorre las murallas medievales de Castellina. La plaza cuenta con varios restaurantes y bares donde los visitantes pueden empaparse del ambiente. La ubicación es ideal para unas vacaciones relajantes con la familia y los amigos. Es una base excelente para realizar itinerarios gastronómicos por los viñedos de Chianti. Los mercados locales son un tesoro de los mejores productos locales, desde verduras hasta queso y aceite de oliva. Algunas de las ciudades y pueblos más bellos de Italia están a poca distancia. Florencia, a sólo 45 minutos, ofrece algunas de las mejores galerías, museos y arquitectura del mundo. Al igual que las ciudades de Siena (30 minutos) y Pisa, con su Torre Inclinada (1 hora y 30 minutos) y San Gimignano (40 minutos), famosa por sus numerosas torres. Los aeropuertos más cercanos son el de Florencia, a 45 minutos en coche, y el de Pisa, a 1 hora y 25 minutos.

Magical place. Perfectly located right in the small town. This was my third time in this town, but first time staying at this Airbnb and it was just fantastic. Everybody in the town is so friendly, restaurants are great, and the coffee shops and grocery store are extremely inexpensive. This Airbnb is very spacious and the washer and dryer are great. It is across from a historical church that has bells that ring very often. That is not a complaint and zero problem for me, but if somebody’s a very light sleeper and wants to sleep past 7 AM, just bring some earplugs. That was one of the best parts about it for me. I was in the room closest to the church. There are three other rooms that are farther away and two of them that are tucked in the back of the apartment so I don’t think those rooms heard it much at all. Definitely a gem. Will stay here again.

It would have been nice to have a welcome pack of essentials such as milk, tea, coffee, sugar and some biscuits especially for someone arriving late at night. Other essentials could have been dishwasher tablets- there was only one- and washing up liquid and toilet rolls Some of the bathrooms did not have any toilet paper. The cleaner should have removed the dead sunflowers which were actually smelly. Finally the lounge furnishings soft chairs were adequate for 6 people as in our group but perhaps 2 more armchairs would be needed for 8 people. Good to have starter pack in bathrooms. This is by no means major criticism but hope it will helpful yo your management . Otherwise all fine and we had a great stay . Thank you.

The house is a beautiful old grand mansion right in the center of the village, facing the old Church. The Church does ring it's bells occasionally, so if you are a very light sleeper, I'd suggest earplugs just in case. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and well furnished with beautiful antiques. Beds were very comfortable, and there's extra bedding available for colder nights. It felt pretty grand to stay here. The locks of the house can be a little challenging, it took us a bit of time to get in, but it is well secured and logically, the doors are old so they are reinforced. The only thing we missed was some basic amenities in the kitchen, like pepper and salt and maybe some oil. It would have been a bit easier to cook with those. The hosts were friendly. There was no information about the parking in the village, and the host told us to look it up ourselves. I think it's better if that information was clear on arrival. All in all we had a great stay. We stayed 4 adults 4 young kids.

The location was excellent -- right in the heart of Castellina in Chianti -- The apartment was very large and each bedroom had a bathroom in it. The kitchen was fully stocked; Washer/dryer worked; church bells were loud but awesome! Towels and sheets nice quality. Each room had a fan. Close to anything we needed! We really enjoyed it!
