El apartamento de la planta baja está en un edificio llamado Dimora dell'Antico Porto. Está justo en la orilla del Lago Mayor, en la plaza más antigua de la ciudad de Arona, junto al puerto del siglo XIV, que solía ser mucho más concurrido de lo que es hoy. La pequeña y encantadora iglesia situada frente a la residencia se construyó en 1592. Arcos del siglo XVI y balcones originales de hierro forjado con el escudo de armas de la familia Borromeo añaden encanto a la antigua casa. En el interior, el apartamento está decorado con estilo: ladrillo visto, mampostería de piedra original y un fresco suelo de baldosas de terracota. El acogedor salón de planta abierta está amueblado con un sofá cama, un televisor digital HD de pantalla plana y una mesa de comedor con sillas. Esta habitación también incorpora la cocina que está equipada con una placa de cocina, un microondas, una cafetera y una nevera-congelador y conduce a la terraza. Dormitorio El dormitorio goza de una increíble vista al lago y está amueblado con una cama doble y un armario. Extra: En el salón hay un cómodo sofá cama. Ubicación Situada en la orilla occidental del Lago Mayor, la pintoresca ciudad de Arona está justo enfrente de las Islas Borromeas. Los visitantes pueden tomar el ferry (un paseo de 15 minutos) y visitar las pequeñas islas de Isola Bella y el Palazzo Borromeo, el imponente palacio del siglo XVII y sus famosos jardines. Arona cuenta con un paseo junto al lago y un centro histórico bien conservado con encantadoras calles y arquitectura tradicional italiana. Situado en la Piazza Popolo, el apartamento está a tiro de piedra de maravillosos bistrós, bares y restaurantes, y podrá disfrutar de influencias culinarias de Francia, Suiza e Italia. Un camino en la ladera conduce desde la Piazza del Popolo hasta el Sacro Monte di San Carlo (a 25 minutos a pie) y el Coloso de San Carlos Borromeo, una enorme estatua de bronce de San Carlos Borromeo. Ubicada entre jardines y capillas con vistas al lago, fue en su día la estatua más alta del mundo, con más de 23 metros de altura. Arona es también un buen punto de partida para explorar otras encantadoras ciudades y lugares de interés en torno al Lago Mayor, como Stresa (a 25 minutos en coche), Verbania (a 40 minutos) y el Jardín Botánico de Villa Taranto (a 42 minutos). Los visitantes también pueden practicar senderismo y ciclismo de montaña en las colinas y bosques cercanos. El aeropuerto internacional más cercano es el de Milán Malpensa (MXP), a unos 40 minutos en coche del alojamiento.

Waking up with the lake view is the best thing. This place is exactly central of Arona and you can find restaurants around the hotel easily and the night time is really quiet to have a good sleep with the sound of the lake. There’s everything you need for your stay in this hotel. Come here to drink coffee and read a book with the lake view. Highly recommend :) And we will be back soon!
