L'appartement situé au rez-de-chaussée se trouve dans un immeuble appelé « Dimora dell'Antico Porto ». Il est situé au bord du lac Majeur, sur la plus ancienne place de la ville d'Arona, à côté du port du XIVe siècle, qui était autrefois bien plus animé qu'aujourd'hui. La charmante petite église située de l’autre côté de la place, en face de la résidence, a été construite en 1592. Les arcades du XVIe siècle et les balcons d’origine en fer forgé, ornés des armoiries de la famille Borromée, ajoutent au charme de cette demeure ancienne. À l’intérieur, l’appartement est décoré avec goût et présente des briques apparentes, des pierres de taille d’origine et un sol en terre cuite qui procure une agréable fraîcheur dans toutes les pièces. L’espace de vie ouvert et chaleureux est aménagé avec un canapé-lit, une télévision numérique HD à écran plat, ainsi qu’une table et des chaises. Situation Située sur la rive ouest du lac Majeur, la pittoresque ville d’Arona se trouve juste en face des îles Borromées. Les visiteurs peuvent prendre le ferry (à 15 minutes à pied) pour découvrir les petites îles de l’Isola Bella et le Palazzo Borromeo, cet imposant palais du XVIIe siècle et ses célèbres jardins. Arona dispose d’une promenade au bord du lac et d’un centre historique bien préservé, avec ses ruelles charmantes et son architecture italienne traditionnelle. Situé sur la Piazza Popolo, l’appartement se trouve à deux pas de merveilleux bistrots, bars et restaurants où vous pourrez déguster des spécialités inspirées des cuisines française, suisse et italienne. Un sentier à flanc de colline mène de la Piazza del Popolo au Sacro Monte di San Carlo (25 minutes à pied) et au Colosse de Saint-Charles-Borromée, une imposante statue en bronze représentant saint Charles Borromée. Nichée au milieu de jardins et de chapelles surplombant le lac, cette statue, qui mesurait plus de 23 mètres de haut, était autrefois la plus haute du monde. Arona constitue également un excellent point de départ pour découvrir d’autres villes de charme et attractions autour du lac Majeur, notamment Stresa (à 25 minutes en voiture), Verbania (à 40 minutes en voiture) et les jardins botaniques de la Villa Taranto (à 42 minutes en voiture). Les visiteurs peuvent également pratiquer la randonnée et le VTT dans les collines et les forêts voisines. L'aéroport international le plus proche est celui de Milan-Malpensa (MXP), situé à environ 40 minutes en voiture du logement.

Location is great: by the lake and Piazza del Popolo which has several nice restaurants. Apartment had small terrace outside where it was nice to sit in the evenings with glass of wine and watch people and listen to singers of restaurants across the piazza. Beds were good, even the sofa bed in living room. Kitchen had all the equipment we needed and there were some salt, pepper, oil, tea and coffee to get started. Everything in appartement was clean and worked well. There was air conditioner in both rooms so we had good temperature even it was really hot outside. There is parking lot near (~100m / 1min), right outside of ZTE area. Also after parking lot, behind tennis courts there is pebble beach where we had refreshing swim. We had great stay and hope to have a change to stay again.

The location of the apartment is perfect. Although it is right in the heart of everything, on the edge of Piazza Popolo, occasional noise was not disturbing, as the bedroom faces the lake. From time to time we could hear a bit of partying from other apartments, but it did not bother us. If complete peace and quiet is a priority, it’s worth choosing accommodation outside the city center. 🙂 We stayed in the apartment around the turn of December and January, when there were nighttime frosts. The apartment was perfectly warm thanks to several radiators and good insulation. There also appeared to be two air-source heat pumps, so I believe the apartment would be comfortable even on hot summer days. The living room–kitchen area worked excellently. The sofa was very comfortable for daytime naps and could easily fit two people. The exterior door opening onto the living room was cleverly designed: it also functioned as a window when the outer wooden doors were left open. It was lovely to watch the constant flow of people on the square from there. The kitchen was well equipped; only a dishwasher was missing. This was not a major issue, as we ate out frequently. The bathroom was pleasant and everything worked well. A washing machine might have been useful, as we stayed for a week. The bedroom had a beautiful view of the lake. I did have to remove the curtains, as they blocked the view and could not be adjusted. This is something the host might consider solving differently. The double bed was high quality and very comfortable to sleep in. The apartment also has a small terrace facing the square. We didn’t use it much due to the cool weather, but in warmer conditions it would certainly be a lovely place to sit. The grocery store was about a 10-minute walk away, while the main shopping street, the lakeside promenade, and dozens of restaurants were even closer. Many thanks to the host — we had a wonderful stay!

The location couldn\'t be better, with a terrace facing the market square and a bedroom overlooking the lake, a grocery store a 10-minute walk away, dozens of restaurants, a shopping street, and a lakeside street, as well as market square events right next door.

Waking up with the lake view is the best thing. This place is exactly central of Arona and you can find restaurants around the hotel easily and the night time is really quiet to have a good sleep with the sound of the lake. There’s everything you need for your stay in this hotel. Come here to drink coffee and read a book with the lake view. Highly recommend :) And we will be back soon!

Die Einrichtung ist neuwertig und sehr gepflegt, die Küche hat alles, was man benötigt. Die Lage am See und an der Piazza ist sehr schön. Free Parking Pass und Lage Parkplätze sind sehr angenehm. Die Beschreibungen der Reisebermittlung und die Ansprechpartner vor Ort sind sehr lobenswert. Der Empfang und die Reinigung nach 5 Tagen Aufenthalt ebenfalls sehr zuvorkommend.

The accommodation was on the second floor of a building right in the heart of the historic city centre; it was well-equipped, newly furbished and offered a beautiful view of the lake and the castle on the opposite bank. The balcony overlooked the lake, making it the ideal spot for a morning coffee or an evening drink. There are numerous restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity of the house.

Goed ingericht appartement met een mooi terras aan het grote plein van Arona. Alleen in de middag is het te heet om op het terras te zitten. Waarom geen parasol? Verder staat in de beschrijving dat er uitzicht is op het meer. Die heb je alleen als in je bed ligt. Arona is een heel gezellig plaatsje.

Mooie stad Arona en gezellige eet en drink gelegenheden. Goede ligging. Contact via app was prima, ze reageren snel. Ook toen de airco het de eerste dag niet deed, kwam er meteen iemand om het te maken.

The location of the apartment is perfect. Although it is right in the heart of everything, on the edge of Piazza Popolo, occasional noise was not disturbing, as the bedroom faces the lake. From time to time we could hear a bit of partying from other apartments, but it did not bother us. If complete peace and quiet is a priority, it’s worth choosing accommodation outside the city center. 🙂 We stayed in the apartment around the turn of December and January, when there were nighttime frosts. The apartment was perfectly warm thanks to several radiators and good insulation. There also appeared to be two air-source heat pumps, so I believe the apartment would be comfortable even on hot summer days. The living room–kitchen area worked excellently. The sofa was very comfortable for daytime naps and could easily fit two people. The exterior door opening onto the living room was cleverly designed: it also functioned as a window when the outer wooden doors were left open. It was lovely to watch the constant flow of people on the square from there. The kitchen was well equipped; only a dishwasher was missing. This was not a major issue, as we ate out frequently. The bathroom was pleasant and everything worked well. A washing machine might have been useful, as we stayed for a week. The bedroom had a beautiful view of the lake. I did have to remove the curtains, as they blocked the view and could not be adjusted. This is something the host might consider solving differently. The double bed was high quality and very comfortable to sleep in. The apartment also has a small terrace facing the square. We didn’t use it much due to the cool weather, but in warmer conditions it would certainly be a lovely place to sit. The grocery store was about a 10-minute walk away, while the main shopping street, the lakeside promenade, and dozens of restaurants were even closer. Many thanks to the host — we had a wonderful stay!

The location couldn\'t be better, with a terrace facing the market square and a bedroom overlooking the lake, a grocery store a 10-minute walk away, dozens of restaurants, a shopping street, and a lakeside street, as well as market square events right next door.

Waking up with the lake view is the best thing. This place is exactly central of Arona and you can find restaurants around the hotel easily and the night time is really quiet to have a good sleep with the sound of the lake. There’s everything you need for your stay in this hotel. Come here to drink coffee and read a book with the lake view. Highly recommend :) And we will be back soon!

Die Einrichtung ist neuwertig und sehr gepflegt, die Küche hat alles, was man benötigt. Die Lage am See und an der Piazza ist sehr schön. Free Parking Pass und Lage Parkplätze sind sehr angenehm. Die Beschreibungen der Reisebermittlung und die Ansprechpartner vor Ort sind sehr lobenswert. Der Empfang und die Reinigung nach 5 Tagen Aufenthalt ebenfalls sehr zuvorkommend.

The accommodation was on the second floor of a building right in the heart of the historic city centre; it was well-equipped, newly furbished and offered a beautiful view of the lake and the castle on the opposite bank. The balcony overlooked the lake, making it the ideal spot for a morning coffee or an evening drink. There are numerous restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity of the house.

Goed ingericht appartement met een mooi terras aan het grote plein van Arona. Alleen in de middag is het te heet om op het terras te zitten. Waarom geen parasol? Verder staat in de beschrijving dat er uitzicht is op het meer. Die heb je alleen als in je bed ligt. Arona is een heel gezellig plaatsje.
