Een stijlvol duplex appartement, met ononderbroken uitzicht op de bergen, is het hele jaar door een perfecte vakantiebestemming. Dit appartement ligt op de derde verdieping (met lift), omgeven door uitgestrekte gemeenschappelijke tuinen en is geschikt voor 4 personen. De inrichting is alpien maar met een modern tintje. De woonkamer heeft grote ramen die direct op de bergen uitkijken. Er is een glazen deur die uitkomt op een houten balkon waar je kunt zitten en genieten van het uitzicht. Binnen staan een bank en een tv. De eethoek, met een houten tafel voor 4 personen, ligt naast de open keuken. De keuken is uitgerust met een magnetron, koelkast en koffiezetapparaat. Slapen Slaapkamer 1: De ouderslaapkamer heeft een tweepersoonsbed en een kledingkast. Slaapkamer 2: Deze gezellige slaapkamer heeft een stapelbed. Badkamer De levendige badkamer heeft een bad met een volledige douche, wastafel en WC. Extra - Wifi - Wasmachine - Kindvriendelijk - Rookmelder - Huisdieren toegestaan - Gemeenschappelijke tuinen - Elektrische radiatoren - Skiberging - Gratis openbare parkeerplaats - auto niet noodzakelijk Houd er rekening mee dat de trap tussen de WC en de slaapkamer op de 2e verdieping steil is. Locatie Het appartement ligt aan de rand van het dorp Argentière, dicht bij het bos, maar op korte loopafstand van alle voorzieningen; de kabelbaan voor het skigebied Les Grands Montets (230 meter); skipistes en pendelbussen. De nabijgelegen pistes zijn ideaal voor gemiddelde en ervaren skiërs. Op sommige van de hogere pistes kun je later in het seizoen skiën, soms tot begin mei. Voor jongere gasten biedt de Panda Club (6 minuten lopen) het hele jaar door skilessen met meer eindeloos plezier en spelletjes. Tijdens de zomermaanden is de keuze aan activiteiten eindeloos; prachtige bergpaden om te wandelen of te mountainbiken, wildwatervaren, golfen, rotsklimmen, paragliden en paardrijden. Het dorp heeft een aantal uitstekende restaurants en bars voor elk budget. Voor self-catering is er de wekelijkse markt van Argentière op zondagochtend (in het seizoen) voor de meest verse lokale producten. Markt van Chamonix (12 minuten), Place du Mont Blanc. Vindt elke zaterdagochtend plaats gedurende het hele jaar. Er is ook een supermarkt op slechts 7 minuten lopen van het appartement. De luchthaven van Genève ligt op 1,5 uur rijden. Als je met de trein komt, ligt het treinstation van Argentière op 6 minuten lopen. Vanwege de unieke topografie, locatie en weersomstandigheden in de Mont Blanc-vallei kan de internetverbinding onbetrouwbaar zijn.

We were able to meet the Happy Rentals team on our arrival and she explained everything clearly and gave us our transit card. I'll tell you, the transit card is just terrific and we used it everyday for our 3 week stay. The accommodations where great, the location is perfect, and the view was spectacular. Minor complaint that we didn't get enough dishwasher soap for our entire stay. Since we were paying for a 3 week stay I would have thought soap would be included. Other issue was an order from the fridge that we could not get rid of. We would definitely stay again, and most likely pick the same room. Thanks.

We had a fab time in Chamonix, thanks heaps for the comfy stay! The flat had all we needed, it was cosy and clean, the hosts had thought of everything! I really can´t understand the negative reviews - the place was clean, accommodated all our needs, couldn´t be better located, etc. Everything was great. True, the building is old but that has nothing to do with the hosts who were kind and helpful - and honestly, also has nothing to do with the flat itself. The views from both the living room and bedroom is to die for, the flat is furnished with style and a feeling for detail. I felt claustrophobic in the elevetor (perhaps the main reason for any negative reviews on here) so took the stairs. Otherwise: all was excellent, would book any time again!

We had a great stay. We are a family of four with two teenagers and this place was perfect for us. Kitchen equipped with all the essentials, plenty of towels, spare bed linen. Complimentary bottle of wine! Apartment is located within walking distance to ski lift, bakery & supermarket. 10min drive to Chamonix. Clear instructions to check in & check out. Great ski holiday!

Mixed feelings about this Airbnb. Go in with eyes wide open. Good: Location, river and mountains out the window, reasonably well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, mini-porch. Train passes included with keys from dropbox. Bad: Very shabby and outdated building/apartment. Unattractive. Smelly and sketchy staircase up. Very steep stairs between toilet and 2nd-floor bedroom. Disrepair throughout, like nails poking up from broken bed/floor trim. Description includes things like shampoo/conditioner and oil for the kitchen that weren't there, plus claims a smart TV that wasn't a smart TV - small-ish things but they still matter. Not great: No customized info about the apartment or area. Corporate host = no single local contact and continued attempts to communicate outside of Airbnb. Someone did change a broken door lock right away. I wouldn't stay here again but it could be an okay landing spot for someone who doesn't care much about appearance or host communication.
