Sie ist auch nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto vom trendigen und lebhaften Stadtzentrum von Nizza entfernt, wo es die berühmte Promenade des Anglais, mehrere glamouröse Strände und den berühmten Place Massena gibt. Villefranche-Sur-Mer eignet sich besonders für Reisende, die inmitten der typisch schönen Umgebung der Alpes-Provence-Cote d'Azur entspannen, tauchen und segeln möchten. Mit der Altstadt in unmittelbarer Nähe sind auch die barocke italienische Kirche St. Michael und die restaurierte Kapelle St. Peter mit den berühmten Wandmalereien von Jean Cocteau leicht zu erreichen. Für ein reichhaltiges und elitäres Erlebnis ist Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, ein beschauliches Dorf außerhalb von Villefranche, nur 10 Autominuten entfernt. Das Feriendorf Beaulieu-Sur-Mer und Eze sind ebenfalls etwa gleich weit entfernt von hier. Der nächstgelegene internationale Flughafen befindet sich in Nizza, etwa 25 Autominuten entfernt.

Leo was very helpful on arrival and departure, and left a bottle of wine for us. The location is excellent as long as you have a car. I know some other reviewers did not like the busy road but it did not bother us and was very convenient. A supermarket, boulangerie and restaurant were within 200 yds Bathroom was very good and clean Bed and sofa were both very comfortable

There was an overall lack of care and maintenance to this property. Some issues were cosmetic, some had safety implications and have been previously documented in other reviews. The winding stone steps are in complete darkness at night. This poses a fall and personal safety risk. All three locks to access property are flawed and require repairs. The door to the suite does not lock without key. Dead bolts with internal knobs are needed. Smoke detector was sitting on bookshelf. Fridge is a complete mess. Cabinet door has come off leaving a sticky awful surface. The door does not close fully no matter how much care is taken. This leads to constant dripping and food getting wet. There seems to be an overall cheapness in the approach to the management of this property. It is clearly the mandate to maximize profits. Any thought of providing a memorable experience is non existent. It has the potential to be a lovely place to stay.

Leo was very helpful on arrival and departure, and left a bottle of wine for us. The location is excellent as long as you have a car. I know some other reviewers did not like the busy road but it did not bother us and was very convenient.
