Bedroom 2: The lively second bedroom has a single bed with a pull-out single and a small workstation by the window and the peaceful surroundings. The apartment is especially perfect for visiting the Sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso. Besides the views of the lake and Locarno, it is also quite significant from religious and cultural points of view. It is a visual delight to take the Locarno-Madonna del Sasso funicular railway and enjoy the views of Lake Maggiore from its charming balconies. The town of Locarno is a sought-after tourist destination offering great natural landscape and cultural attractions The city center (4 minutes), Piazza Grande, is popular for hosting an annual film festival. Places of interest include the old town, Castello Visconteo (6 minutes) from the 12th century, fine art collections and the promenade. Guests can also take a cruise in the lake or explore the region through its various hiking and biking trails especially around Cardada (34 minutes). The food scene is quite well-developed and the restaurants boast of serving great food with great views. The nearest airport is about 120 kilometers away.

Stayed for a long weekend of activities around Locarno. This place was a great base for the purpose: 10-15 minutes walk away from the station and old town area, plenty of room, nice views out of the flat, quiet area. Host is via an agency. Check in/out was easy with a lockbox and what communication there was went smoothly.

Besides that the Appartment was not properly cleaned before our arrival (which Christian solved fast by sending a cleaning lady the next working day), the apartment is perfect for the price that we payed. Moreover, the team that manage the property are really helpful and provide a good explanation/guide on how to arrive to the property. Location is as well wonderful and the size of the apartment is perfect for a family
